The “Sustainable Architecture” Prize, founded and promoted in 2003 by Fassa S.p.A. and the Architecture Faculty at the University of Ferrara, aims at spreading the concept of a new architecture that is perfectly adjusted to environment, conceived for the necessities of mankind and able to satisfy the needs of these generations without restricting those of the future ones through the indiscriminate exploitation of the resources and the resulting pollution. The prize is therefore open to entries consisting of new constructions, refurbishing work and/or extensions to existing buildings, landscaping works and works in any other area of real relevance to the issue of sustainability.
